
Dogs On Deployment is a non-profit organization that has been around since 2011.
The idea of this non-profit came about when Alisa Johnson and her husband, both in the military and both about to leave for military assignments, had to figure out what to do with their dog. They were lucky enough to find someone, but it made Alisa wonder what other military personnel do in this situation and this lead her to creating Dogs On Deployment.
This organization hosts local events to celebrate our American heroes. Check out what is going on here.
