S Is For Safe Humane Chicago ~ Animal Non-Profits ~ Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2024

Safe Humane Chicago has been around since 2008 and was started by an animal rights activist, Cynthia Bathurst. This non-profit focuses on both people and animals with hopes of bring positive relationships between the two.

This organizations goal is to bring together abused and neglected animals with youth and adults that are facing extreme challenges in their lives. They believe that together these people and animals will bring about help and support to each other.

They offer many programs such as Safe Humane Pals, Court Case Dogs and Community Engagement.
