N Is For National Mill Dog Rescue ~ Animal Non-Profits ~ Blogging From A to Z April Challenge 2024

National Mill Dog Rescue has been around since 2007. It serves to give mill dogs a voice. It was started after the founder, Theresa Strader, brought home 13 dogs from an auction. Among those dogs was an Italian Greyhound, named Lily who NMDR was established in honor of.

This organization rescues, rehabilitates and finds homes for discarded breeding dogs. It also educates people of the cruel realities these dogs endure in the commercial dog breeding industry.

So far NMDR has rescued more than 18,000 dogs.

Some of the ways to help would be to donate or shop and give. To get involved you can Fundraise , Adopt or Foster.

You can see Available Dogs here.
