The Humane Rescue Alliance has been around since 1870 and at that time called the Washington Human Society. It is committed to helping not only animals, but also those animals who have a family.
This non-profit helps all animals and has the largest animal disaster response team on the East Coast.
It also offers something you rarely see, a Pet Pantry Program.
There are several ways to help this organization such as donation, volunteer and to advocate for animals . You can also foster or adopt.
